After continuous rainfall on friday luck is on our side again on sunday. We decide on the hike Otterpfad Wahrenholz-Nord and thus walk on the traces of the otter alongside the river Ise. The flora and fauna at the river fascinates us. It is a true dragonfly dream we come across. Both, beautiful demoiselles and Grüne Flussjungfern are on parade
It is located between Harz and Heide: The Gifhorner Schweiz. Another synonym is the “Tor zur Südheide” (Gate to the Südheide). This is exactly the place we want to explore today on a hike. From an online portal we downloaded a description of a corresponding hiking trail, called “through the Heide at Gifhorn”. We modify the course a little bit.
