In spring 2010 I travelled to Goa – the former dropout paradise in the West of the country. In Goa the portuguese heritage does not only come apparent in some buildings but also through a lifestyle that differs from Poona or Mumbai. Well, it is also more touristy. Probably those encounters lead to attitude changes on both sides. In Goa, I always felt more free than in Poona and less observed.

At the end of the holiday I successfully completed my first gliding flight – as a passenger of course. It was a great feeling, despite the fear that was creeping into my body. Especially in that moment, when we took off in a very sudden and steep way.
