Two years ago a kind of “hikingfever” took hold on me. Beside that I discovered East Europe as an exiting place to be. That is how I decided to visit Slovakia this year. Starting at the Malá Fatra via the Slovakian Paradise I travelled to the High Tatras mountains, the smallest high mountains within Europe. And again I was surprised manifold: National parks, green hills, tor, pure rivers, rolling waterfalls, an opulent wildlife and the beautiful old part of Bratislava – all that charakterizes Slovakia: Ahoi!

Despite the wheather was unsettled now and then, I was convinced by the magnificent views, the adventurous hiking tours and the climbs on top of the mountains.
