Montenegro is a Balkan State with cliffy mountains, medieval villages and small beaches alongside the Adriatic Sea. At the Gulf of Kotor reminding of a fjord are many fortresses and churches located like Herceg Novi. Within the Durmitor national park, home of bears and wolves, are situated limestone mountains, glacial lakes and the 1.300 deep m Tara-gorge where white-water rafting is possible.

Fortunately, the small country is still some kind of an insider tipp. The country is worth visiting.
