Hiking on the Schäferstuhl
On the hill Schäferstühl close to Salzgitter you cannot only (para-)glide, no, you can also hike on it. I always love to try new distances and discover the unknown. On our 16 km long tour we did not only visit the Liebenburg Castle from the outside but also climb the Hausmannsturm and also the Schäferstuhl and enjoy a coffee break on the terrace of the Waldgaststätte Hasenspring. One of the highlights of this hike is watching the paragliders on the Schäfertuhl on the one hand. On the other hand it is the beautiful sunset over Liebenburg at the end of the trip.
